This morning, I woke up to find the Laramie Project poster that I'd hung on my dorm room door vandalized. Scribbled across the front was GAY FUCKER and Matthew Shepard's name was scribbled over with pen. I found myself very offended and hurt...since I am part of the production going on at my college on October 12th.

In a way, I also felt proud...knowing that even though someone felt the need to openly display their hate for the GLBT community and for Matthew Shepard, I knew that there were others out there that were as equally offended as I was over a vandalized poster.

So, I'd like to just take the time to thank everyone on this website for their contribution to the GLBT cause! I hope everyone involved in any production of The Laramie Project: Epilogue feels as proud of their work as I do...even though we all know that some people still don't understand why we fight for GLBT equality.
